Name That Plant!
Elmer took the pic of this planter at Cornell Plantations. The small yellow sedum at the base is Angelina, but what is that lovely dark plant? Please post a reply if you know the answer.
Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month, March-October at Warner Castle in Highland Park, the headquarters of the Rochester Civic Garden Center. Though we do seem to like to travel around a bit. ~We have field trips to gardens and nurseries. ~We have very knowledgeable guest speakers, sometimes world renowned like May's guest speakerJoseph Halda. ~We hold workshops, plant sales, plant swaps, and more. If you are interested in alpines, miniature plants, rock gardens, or are just a lover of gardening, this group is for you. Membership is only $15(less than the admission to 2 movies!) To join, please contact Kate Van Scott, email: kpvansco@rochester.rr.com
